BMW Ultimate Driving Experience

Has anyone gotten an invitation in the mail from BMW to participate in this event? It's a promotion of the E70 and they will have "several competitor's vehicles" to compare. The invitation states that you will be in an E70 with a professional driver on a closed course, and will "learn important driving techniques that will hone your abilities to help make you a safer, more confident driver". They invite you to "push BMW's newest SAV to its limit". Limit, huh?

They also incorporate the Komen drive and a teen Student Driver Program the same day.

I'm going to RSVP but was wondering if anyone has had this in their area.

I participated in the E90 330i promotion in 2005. It was definitively a blast... you should go do it!

The particular event I am referring to occurred in South San Francisco. Invites were sent out to people from San Jose ranging all the way up to North S.F...

Had this last fall for the 2007 X3 in the DC area at Fedex Field.

Anyway to get a full list of schedules around the country?

The last time I did the BMW Ultimate Drive was back in April 1999 when the E46 3-series sedans just came out. I got to learn driving techniques on the E46 328i.

I also did Susan G. Komen drive with several BMWs include the original E36 ///M Coupe.

Also, there was a preview E53 X5 display. I got to check out the E53 inside and out. Little did I know, I would get an E53 X5 2 years later.

Maybe, we should have a mini-X5 World meet at the BMW UDE!!

My wife and I are booked on the 19th. I was told that the auto-cross was booked solid but due to a cancellation I got in. We'll get to auto-x the E70.

SpeedR: What time are you booked in for?

Kewl: Get on it! If the auto-x is still booked up you can still do the Komen drive.

I'm booked for the 27th. I'm bummed, though, that they aren't demoing the X3 as well.
