That is a pretty tough call.
Your time-frame is so large and diverse it would be impossible to choose. Example: How do you compare Louis Armstrong, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Bing Crosby? Answer: You can't. Throw in the fact that entertainer includes the likes of Bob Hope, and many others you end up with Apples and Oranges.
