Got orders to be an ARMY recruiter

yesterday I received orders to be a recruiter for 3 years my wife isn’t that happy because is a 14 hours a day 6 times a week job. Hopefully I get central FL for duty station. Next month im going to recruiter school. Im just hoping i be good at it

That's a tough duty to pull, man. Company car is standard with that one, I think, so there's a little help from the $$ standpoint. Keep us updated, Sarge.

I have friend doing recruiting they say its hard right now because nobody wants to join. As for worse orders i already been to Iraq and been into infantry division`s.

Not trying to be rude, but I could never recruit people to go off to possibly die, how do you deal with that?

Thanks God you aint trying to be rude.

I will recruit so they will defend our country so people like you could have freedom. think for a moment what would happen to us without our military. Enjoy your freedom and your taco bell dog too.

I wont feel bad at all, we are at war everybody knows that so if somebody join the military thats their choice. My job will be explaining how the military works and the benefits like %100 tuition for college.

My ol'man made SSgt in WWII: he got "volunteered" into
jump school and hung out in the Aluetian Islands engaged
with some Nihongi. My mother was the first contingent of
Women's American Marines and spent '42-'45
in Hilo; she never let my father forget that she was a WAM
and he was a dogface, scared jumper, lol!
