The running of the bulls..., er, tornados

Springtime and it's time for me to head west to Idaho before the dreaded humidity sets in. The weather channel now becomes my most watched station. Right now the expression, "You can't get there from here", is foremost in my mind. After 6 years, it's still a struggle to get to the Rockies without hail damage or vertical displacement. Tentative launch date is this Sunday, hoping that stationary front starts moving to allow floodwaters to receed and the threat of severe weather abates.

Have finally installed the Valentine and Sirius (+lifetime subscription, now I only have to live 4 more years for it to pay off). So my trip should be ALOT quicker, if I want it to be. Having national weather reports should help also. Nothing harder to see than a tornado at night (or more frightening!!!).

Will catch all you easties in October. Am planning to come back by way of Oktoberfest in Fort Worth. Will buy a new camera memory card for the pics. It should be interesting and it gets me back to what cross country driving should be, with stops along the way to see interesting places. The Grand Canyon, the Confederate Airforce(Midland,TX) and Atlanta are also scheduled stops. Have a great summer everyone!

Have a good trip and summer, Mark...
I've done 6 coast to coast to coast M'cycle trips:
the weather is guaranteed to be chaotic somewhere
out there in America.
