1000 Lb Wild Hog?! ...
From Yahoo...
Story seems legit, even if the pic looks very hard to believe. No hog expert, but I've seen a 400 lb'er shot just up the mtn from us, by a local Mtn Man/handyman. It was fookin enormous; it was the fairly common wild boar found here in western NC, which is a derivative of the interbred feral hogs and the Russian Boar.
