X5 Pic from this am on BRPkway...

From early this morning. First shot is the usual view from our deck looking down on Waynesville, covered in a morning mist, and out through the Canton Gap: Mt.Pisgah at left center, The Cold Mt at right center rear, and the Lickstone Ridge in front of them.

Then, boggied up on the Blue Ridge Pkway, at Scott Creek Overlook, looking across at Water Rock Knob...5,000 ft. Beautiful morning, 55 degs at 8:30, but light was very contrasty. Pkway was deserted...The ol'X5 is looking pretty good for nearly 6 years old and 58K miles.
A shot of the X & the Vette: a lil' different "ride height", lol!
Thanks for looking!

Very nice. The morning mist shot would have been perfect if that tree wasn't there. Got a chainsaw?

I like how you got your custom plate next to the elevation sign.

Pretty! Got to see snow capped mountains out of my back window the other day. The rain we had was snow above 6,000'. Since we live a 4,800' to start, the mountains got a nice coating of snow. Not so many trees out here as you, D & V - Will try to remember my camera when I leave the house - Got to travel the Blue Ridge someday during one of mt trips from SC to NJ - I get a good start point with a stop at Pilot Mountain,NC to visit a cousin.
