DUBAI REBUTS JAGUAR BID
Bloomberg
July 3, 2007 -- Dubai International Capital LLC, a private-equity company owned by the Persian Gulf emirate's ruler, denied a U.K. newspaper report that it plans to bid for Ford Motor Co.'s Jaguar and Land Rover units.

The company "denies any plans for bidding for one or both of the companies as was claimed," Chief Executive Officer Sameer al-Ansari said yesterday in an e-mail.

London's Observer said Dubai International and Mubadala Development Co., state-run investment firms in the United Arab Emirates were bidding.
