got to love religious tolerance.

I'm not religious, but don't religions teach you to be tolerant of others? How come religious leaders feel it is necessary to bash one another?

Yeah... I really don't like the new pope. This guy is out of touch and narrow-minded. I don't get it.

Gee once a hitler youth always a hitler youth

this is the thing I am always amazed with in organized religon "hey everyone here is some weathered, crochity, old guy now you need to listen to his senile rambelings and take them as the word of god."

Not really. The Samaritans thought they were right and Jesus firmly said "

(John 4:22) YOU worship what YOU do not know; we worship what we know, because salvation originates with the Jews.” So according to Jesus the Samaritans kind of worship was wrong. And nothing has changed today. Some folks think they are right. In some cases, about some things they may be right. (We're not talking about the pope though).

Speaking of religious tolerance...

And that is probably why I never got into religion.

I'll take the George Carlin approach: I hate all religions equally!
