I hope someone finds this.
ABC News tonight showed a film of a some soilder in Iraq challenging members of congress and the President to come to Iraq and serve for 15 months with him so they can see what it's like. He said if they did he would spend anothr 15 months without the extra pay just so they can see what's happening. He was not happy. And neither were some of his colleagues.

This pisses me off as a former US soldier. The draft hasnt been enacted so why did this guy sign up for the army. Has he ever seen war movies or any live footage. Its not a tea party...its war

He's pissed because nobody has properly explained what their mission is. Someone just needs to tell the guy that their mission is to keep this war going as long as possible, while keeping the "bad news" to a minimum. Then he can take pride in knowing they are doing an awsome job over there.

You have a point of course but Maybe he knew about the war, understood the risk but may be unhappy because some folks in charge have not kept their word regarding deployment.


Edit: Watch and see if this dosn't become a lighting rod for folks to grab, Especially the challenge to the Bushman to spend 15 months with him. Can't wait to see how much life the media will drain out of this one.

i support our service men and women. we have doctors and patients, home builders and home owners, trash collectors and us, soldiers and leaders...please correct me if i am wrong politicians dont go to wars, soldiers go to war. correct?
