It is indeed a good deal. This is the third time they have done it this year -- interesting!!

The happens every so often. Be aware--Dell jacks up the price so you can get the big discount.

Also, if you get in on this, upgrade the memory at Newegg.com. You'll save a good $150 or so if you get 1GB. Installing memory on a laptop takes all of 45 seconds.
