wow, great story and pics! That's a beautiful car (and in a stunning deep black too). I've seen one Veyron in a musem, and another on the road near my house.
Oh, and did anybody notice the taillights? I first noticed in a video that the Veyron's tail and brake lights seemed to blink and flash with different bulbs. And if you study the pics closely, you can see it! In most of the pics, the tail/brake lights are lit up differently. I forget why this happens, but it's strange.
