Cordless Phone Headset

Greetings,

I need a recommendation. I am on the phone a lot and our office system is cordless. I want to get a good headset and was hoping someone had a rave recommendation.

I currently use the Panasonic KX-TCA86 and have had it for years. I have no idea what I payed for it.

I need another one for home use. So I went to Staples the other day and they had a few in the $20 price range and a few in the $80-$100 price range. I did not know if I should save the bucks or go the extra mile. Is there a difference in quality? Worth the money? Etc.

So what do you recommend and why? How good is it?
I will be plugging into a Panasonic TG4500

B

I got a Plantronics one at Staples. It seems more durable than the Panasonics, which just seem a little flimsy. I've had a couple of Panasonic headsets break where the racheting mechanism for the boom mic is and also where the headband slides in and out.

I agree with Kevin. I have a bunch of Plantronics for my staff and they have been great, very high quality product, no problems at all in the three to four years we have been using them. BTW, you gotta go wireless!

Wireless headset? or Wireless phone?

which wireless do you use? Remember, this is not for my mobile phone, it's for my office.

This is the one I have:

It's wireless. I can walk up and down the hallway and talk if I want. Really helps when I am on the phone, have to walk across the office for a file, look for stuff, etc.
