Switch to connect 2 sets of speakers to 1 PC?
Does anyone know of a switch that will allow me to connect 2 sets of 5.1 PC speakers to 1 computer? Ideally it would be able to switch between speakers A, B, or both A & B - just like a stereo. I have an older set of 5.1 PC speakers that I'd like to hook up on my deck by the pool so I can listen to Music Match out there as well! I've done a bit of searching on the internet but all I can find is pretty much just the opposite (KVM switch to use 1 keyboard, mouse, monitor, & speakers with 2 computers).
TIA!

connect your pc to your stereo/amp and connect the 2nd set of speakers to your stereo.
or you can get a headphone splitter like this: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=172340

Hey thanks Gresch. The speakers are PC speakers so I don't think they'll work with a regular stereo that uses 8 ohm speakers. I also thought about using a headphone splitter but I'm not sure that will work. There's another 9 pin connector from the speakers that plug into the computer that the headphone splitter doesn't have. I'm guessing this is to control volume, bass, treble, surround, etc.. I'm hoping there's something available that will allow full functionality.
