Police Free Maryland Sex Assault Suspect By Mistake

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,293026,00.html

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — A man suspected of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl is back on the loose after police mistakenly released him from custody.

Prince George's County police say that 27-year-old John Henri Palmont was accidentally let go Friday night. Palmont was arrested Thursday for the Aug. 3 assault in the Capitol Heights area, where he is also from.

Police say that the suspect knocked on the victim's door that afternoon and asked to use the telephone. The girl let him in, and then he displayed a handgun before sexually assaulting her.

Palmont's whereabouts are currently unknown.

Sorry I don't want a 1400.00 speeding ticket.

Everyone in my area (moved to Northern VA last week) has 3 wisps of hair remaining and the median age is a hundred and seventy twelve. Thus, they always drive below the speed limit, which is absolutely infuriating. When the road is open, I romp down the super-wide roads at 45-50mph. Who thought of setting a 35 limit?! I can't stand the drivers around here.

Awww I miss Arlington. While DC is fun, VA is so much more relaxed and quiet and cheaper! (apart from the speeding tickets)

Sorry M, I am happy to be out of MD. Bethesda is such a strange place....
