Where to shop for modern furniture?

After leaving behind a lot of my old furniture during the move, the time has come to shop for some a new desk and dresser. In general, where do you guys typically shop to find truly modern furniture? Ya know, the new age stuff that looks sharp, clean, and doesn't take up too much space? Suggestions appreciated!



(Don't say IKEA.........I already know they only carry a few)

Try Scan. I know they have stores in the general D.C. area.....

Both are good. Or Z Furniture Gallery (there is one in tysons if you can find anything in it.)

I like how X5FX said DWR. Great store, but I dont know whos "Reach" to which they are referrring as its still pretty far out of mine.
