Ford EcoSport??

I thought I was seeing things - but this past Sunday, I was behind a little truck on 1709 here in Southlake TX (home of the #1 high school football team in the nation - but that is another story). It turned left - and as I glanced in my rearview mirror, I swear it had a Ford symbol on the front. Didn't look like anything I had seen before. On the back, it said 'EcoSport'. I finally looked it up and to my surprise - it IS a Ford. Designed and built in Brazil - also sold in Mexico - wonder what the heck one was doing in this area (Dallas/Ft. Worth).

Not sure what it would cost for Ford to sell in the states, but with the price of gas, I'm kind-of surprised they don't sell a mini-ute like this. It looked smaller than an Escape, but I did not have a side-by-side comparison.

Yep, I have seen those in Aruba and Mexico.

I've seen a few of those here in Dallas, too. Most of them had Mexican plates on them, so I figured they were "visiting".
