How do ya read the fixtures?

Hi guys (and ladies)

Can somebody help me out please? I am trying to take in a ball game whilst we are in San francisco. I have found a page that makes absolutely no sense to me here http://sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com/s...=sf&m=9&y=2007

Can anyone tell me if I am reading it correctly and that there is a game against SD (San Diego?) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 24th, 25th and 26th of September? Do they really play 3 times in 3 days?

Am I better off buying tickets over the 'net? Also, any tips on where to sit (eg bleachers?)

We are also keen to try and get into the 49ers game against Seattle on Sept 30th. Has anyone been to Monster Park? It's our first NFL game so any advice on best place to watch the game is much appreciated.

Being a rugby fan I'm pretty keen to watch this live and see what it's like.

I also tried to hook up a Nascar race but we don't arrive until Sept 12th into LA (bummer) and leave on Oct 5th.... just before NBA season too!

Cheers

Yep...Giants are in town against San Diego on those days. It is common to have a 3-4 day home series seeing there are so many games and so much traveling involved. AT&T park is one of the best and it is hard pressed to get a bad seat. It is really designed for fans and you will have a great day.

Monster park stinks...Football is very expensive and you can spend $250 a ticket and not see very much of the game.
