Nice shot in the arm, but expected effect on this
junkie-like M, imo. The bloom will be off the rose in a few days or less, and back to the Sturm und Drang of this frenetic Mkt and the economy's effect. Gold is at Qtr century high, oil prices will affect nearly everything we see, buy, use, consume and, they keep printing dollars like they are, well...just dollars. My port is gonna be carefully culled in the next few weeks. Tough to pick 'em these days; cash/cash equivalents are king until that ol'monster Inflation creeps in again. Seatbelts and helmets on. This is a slight problem. Now the CDs I'm about to put money in (once my current one matures) are likely going to have lower interest rates. And the US Dollar is gonna be worth even less..........IIRC higher interest rates tend to lead to higher currency rate as more international people want to buy greenbacks.
Perhaps its time for me to invest in foreign currencies. The USD is so worthless thesedays.
