Very nice. Do you use any type of filter when taking those kind of pics?

Thank you for all the views and props, Gang...
really just "standard" snapshots taken from our deck
looking ESE at Mt Pisgah, The Cold Mtn, WolfpenMtn,
et al. on the eve of the Autumnal Equinox.

Guinness: no special filter; I have a Skylight 1A to
protect my old, old Sigma 17mm-35mm off my old
film Minolta X7, which I use on my low budget Konica-
Minolta DSLR.

It is effectively ~ a 25mm-53mm on the digital body.
I just frame, point and shoot, though I do fiddle with
EV and tend to underexpose as much as a stop and
a 1/2 trying to fool the 'puter and saturate the scene
a little more.

No Photoshop as I don't own the program.

The last pic was actually just snapped with my 5 year old,
beat up Canon Powershot S50, a workhorse pocket job with
<5Megs, a narrow zoom range and a viewfinder, lol! But, that
old Canon CCD is better in some ways than my newer, budget
KM DLSR.
Thanks again for all the kind words...I appreciate the pats
on the back, but I mainly just like sharing the views we
have here, which range from very good to breathfookintaking.
