Anyone Belong to a Destinatiion Club?

Does anyone belong to a destination club (DC)? If so, what DC to you belong to, and what has been your experience?

I have been thinking of joining High Country Club or Private Escapes (before the merger to Ultimate Resorts). Exclusive Resorts is too pricey for me.

I appreciate any thoughts or opinions.

I'm a Disney Vacation Club owner (Yup, I have kids)

I think there's an Exclusive Resorts member on here as well...

Wink

I realize luxury vacations are not as exciting as discussing iPones or Brittney, but surely someone has an opinion on Destination Clubs?

Is the Disney Vacation Club worth it? What are the perks?

I'll let DVC owners answer that question. However, DVC is a timeshare not a destination club. Check out some of the websites I listed above for more information.

Yes. We either use it every year or bank the points and do something twice as great the following year. We have kids and it was a very good investment for us.

My cousins' dad (my ex-uncle) is a member of Exclusive Resorts, and I've gone with my cousins to Exclusive properties in Hawaii and Mexico.
VERY nice.

But from what I was told the cost was, you need to be a mega high-roller to play. As in a couple hundred G's a year.
