Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Ferrari unveiled its track-oriented F430 Scuderia–about a week ahead of its scheduled Frankfurt debut. Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo pulled the tarp off of the new car, accompanied by F1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen. After the reveal, Massa drove the Scuderia off the stage and onto the track for a couple hot laps.

Unfortunately, the unveiling in Fiorano was a private event so not many details are known about the car. However, it is expected that the F430 Scuderia will have around 525 horsepower and, thanks to extensive carbon fiber use and other weight-saving techniques, will be about 200 pounds lighter than a standard F430. Check back for official details after the Scuderia's media unveiling next week at Frankfurt auto show.

official specs are available on ferrari owner's site.. 520bhp @ 8500 rpm, 346 ft/lb of torque at 5250rpm, 60ms shifts with F1 superfast, 8640 redline, 2775 dry weight so more than 300lbs lighter than the 430... it's gonna be FAST....

Ok.........where's the sat nav, Logic7, and Bluetooth? And the gauges are too hard to read........I don't like gauges that start at the 6 o'clock position since you can never read them at a glance (Mazda3 has this problem).

All kidding aside, that is one sexy work of art.

duh!! NAV is in the becker along with bluetooth. They also have a BOSE system as an option! LOL

Hehe. My dad had the same problem. So he bought another garage. Problem solved.

The 430S looks awesome. The orange-red color is not my favorite.

I like this scheme with the Italia stripe. Credit to blackjack on F-chat for the PS job.
