i just bought an X5 with a factory installed ipod adapter. there evidently is a software defect that cuts a song off after a minute or so and automatically switching the entertainment mode back from aux to the radio. I called the dealers service department and they said they have experienced this defect before. something to do with software vers 27.1. He said that it would take anywhere from 1.5 to 6 hours to fix the problem. I can't get an service app't with a loaner for another 10 days. anyone have an idea if I can tweak this myself without waiting so long. (btw i have an ipod 160 gb classic with 25,000 songs so this is a BIG issue)
