I love how hindsight is 20/20. Where were all these investigations & allegations in the past years when this was happening? Nice oversight. If Joe Blow tax payer tried to hide $300.00 from the IRS he'd be audited for the next 5 years...but a company pockets millions...no biggie.

Don't you know that these are just political attacks by the liberal congress. They can't stop the war, so they attack all the private military contractors like Blackwater and Haliburton in an attempt to undermine the war effort. (I heard this piece of wisdom from Rush Limbaugh)

That's certainly can't be true.

Democrats never do anything wrong/imoral, so that's not the case.

You're lucky I'm at work and can't access the laundry list of stories of democrat political scandals that weren't anything more than politics to further a cause.

Hawaii's Republican party issued a complaint Wednesday claiming their Democratic counterparts illegally laundered campaign money for a candidate in Rhode Island.

The complaint centers around Matt Brown, a Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate from Rhode Island. The state GOP says Hawaii Democrats cut a deal with one of Brown's supporters to circumvent federal campaign spending law. The complaint says Brown's campaign struck similar deals with Democrats in other states.

"The Hawaii Democrat Party, the Maine Democrat Party and the Massachusetts Democrat Party could be in potential violation of federal campaign spending laws," said Sam Aiona, Hawaii state GOP chairman.

Remember, the establishment (read: Democratic) critique of the Bush administration’s misadventure in Iraq is not that the invasion and occupation of Iraq is illegal and immoral, but that Bush bungled it.

The Democrats may promise to put an end to the Republican “culture of corruption” or to fix the disaster in Iraq. Meanwhile, Democrat-connected lobbyists are planning to get their piece of the action, and the Democratic “national security” experts are drawing up plans to continue the occupation of Iraq.
