5.6 on the rictor scale. In the hills above Alum rock on the Calaveras fault. Lasted quite a while. Some described it a one big jolt but not where i am. It kept going and going and going until we finally decided to get up and make a move for some cover. We're fine.

We felt it in the North Bay in Petaluma about 2 hours north of San Jose. It was big enough for everyone on the third floor of the Masonic building to feel the shaking.

Heard that it lasted about a minute, a very long time. I was at the Warrior's opening night, the whole Arena was rocking, didn't feel a thing
