No, this isn't possible according to the ecomentalists. We should be experiencing super-hot winters with no snow, massive floods from the polar ice caps melting, and mass fish deaths from rapid changes in currents.

Not only is it possible, it is expected. Global warming disrupts the gulf stream in the Atlantic, causing cooling in certain areas. Expect the UK to get colder in winter, hotter in summer.
