No Country for Old Men

Did anyone else see this movie and loved it as much as I did? It had me uneasy throughout the entire film. Superb acting by all.

It was fantastic... Except for the last 20 minutes which sadly, I did not like at all. I am a huge Coen Bros. fan and saw this film as part of a trilogy that started with Blood Simple, then Fargo, then No Country For Old Men.. All three of these movies had a similar exploration of small time "characters" and had a similar look, feel and harmony about them.

I know they tried to stay true to the book but I just can't help but say, I was very disappointed with the decisions they made about the third act.

As I don't want to spoil anything, I'll leave it at that.

I think I need to see the last 20 minutes again. I feel like I missed something there, especially the scene with uncle and the last scene.

You can watch the last 20 minutes 20 more times, but it ain't going to change what is and what is NOT there.
I did not like the way they wrapped up the Lou Ellen story, I did not like the way the wrapped up the Sugar story and I did not like the way the wrapped up Tommy Lee Jone's story.
Again, it was a GREAT FILM.. Up until Act III where it became a disaster.

I still love the Coen Bros. and just hope the DVD has a director's cut with some "missing scene's" added.
