Thanks, Kevin. The trees ARE beautiful. What you don't see, however, is that this is a lake-front house. The house is sitting on a 23-foot high retaining wall. The lake (I am on a cove) is right there in between those trees somewhere... Or, at least it was yesterday.

Yeah... the builder is saying that they "hope" to have the house ready by Thanksgiving. We put in the contract LAST August (yes, 2004), though, so the progress has been slow. Needless to say, we're not holding our breaths that we will be there for Thanksgiving. We'll see...

Clean water. Very nice... The Pro Bass championship tour was here last year. I am not a fisherman, but apparently, it's some of the best bass fishing in the country. It's a relatively small lake, but it's very nice.
