AND, Z06's have been heavily discounted for the last 6 weeks. Kerbeck had them for $7k off of MSRP since early November.
pssst.. I'm part of the GM supplier program, Audi Supplier program and PAG also. They specifically state that the Z06 does not fall under the program. Didn't pricing also go up for 08? I can find the supplier program doc if you want it.

Until yesterday, the discount without supplier discount was $7500, so now that they are offering supplier discount it must be even deeper. They're closed tomorrow, so I'll be calling on Monday to see what the supplier discount is.

Thanks for the offer, but they're not requiring a code for the supplier discount, so if I decide to buy one, I'm good to go.

Now if I hesitate and miss the pricing, I'll be calling for sure

Thanks again.

Can't believe I didn't see this thread earlier... G - you're killin' me... I don't know who's got it worse, you, or me...

OK - if we're talkin' about motors, and not the whole car, there just ain't nothin' more nad-ticklin' than a Ferrari V* - especially the sound, and you just can't make a Chevy motor sound like one, or any other motor for that matter.

That said, by FAR the absolute BEST poor-man's V8 is the old push-rod, 2 valve Chevy small-block in the new Vette. OK - so I lied, I guess I'm a bit biased to the Vette's curves - I can clearly see N. Kidman & J. Simpson in that shape...

I need to stay away from CF - talk about folks who love their cars - it just wreaks of machine lust over there. It may even be a new form of STD - you'd better not go there....

BTW - Can't wait to see the pics, Ron! I can tell you're goin' down first...

This is N.K.

I thought BMW at first. But I guess their best V8's are racing engines they build for people
like McLaren.
