OT: Rockband bundle for Xbox 360. Anyone with connections to get one before 12/24

So all my darling 16 yo wants for Christmas is this bloody RockBand BUNDLE (not just the game but the bundle which includes the instruments) for Xbox 360 game which seems to be a) sold out b) coming in soon though every store has a different availability date, and in small print advise that they are not responsible for delays c) overpay up to 2X via ebay (I refuse to be gouged)

So I'm wonderin/hopin that a fellow X5World member might have/know a contact where I can buy one at the retail price (which should be about $169 + tax and shipping depending on store/site).

ebay is certainly an option, but as I mentioned in my original post, there is some serious price gauging..like 2X retail..which I realize is the cost of supply and demand..so I thought I'd ask here if anyone had any other suggestions..

The market is what the market is.. You can always post on Craigslist what you are willing to pay and maybe someone will contact you.

So let me make a less subtle point..

The folks that are selling them on eBay typically WORK for Best Buy, WalMart, Circuit City, etc.

They "grab" them before they hit the shelves, buy them "legally" and walk out the door. If a person waits on line for 3 hours for a $100 profit, I have no issue. I'm merely inquiring if a board member MIGHT work for and have a contact to pass along, to help me out.

BTW, I work for IBM. If anyone wants to check out the employee pricing on a Lenovo laptop or desktop, I'm happy to provide my reference info so you can access the "friends and family" site via a PM.

And we already have an XBOX 360, so a PS3 is not an option, but I appreciate the suggestion..
