My happy dance

Today is a good day. I got rid of my Volvo. After an agonizing 16 months of trying to do so, (and 53 whopping days in the shop) it now sits right where it came from: ****** Volvo. (been saving post 1K for something special)

This weekend, I'll pick up a 325/330xi or X5, based on what Ira comes back from the auction with. Wish me luck there, this search has been difficult, If i had been 10 minutes earlier with a deposit, I'd have a Jet/Terracotta X3 ZSP

FYI and general car talk: I test drove (and without the Bait-and-Switch, would have bought) a VW R32. Fast car. Really fast car. Sounds good, too; its a very throaty, almost metallic sounding shreik from the tailpipe. I may have attracted every MA state trooper in the area when I took it on 495. It handles like its on rails, and the $29K quote the lying dealer gave me wasn't bad either. Too bad the insurance costs more than the car
