The World in a Nutshell
If you could shrink the world down to 100 people & keep the same ratios, there would be...

51 women and 49 men
58 Asians, 13 Europeans, 15 from the Americas, and 14 Africans
50% of the wealth in the hands of 6 people-all from the US
50 malnourished
80 living in substandard housing
70 illiterates
1 with a college education
Not one who owned a computer

Interesting that of those 6 people in the US that own 50% of the wealth only one of them at most has a college education.

That was my point to your post, a degree wasn't required.

Yeah, I gotcha the first time. I was just making a comment on how we all equate a higher education to success yet the numbers show differently at the highest level.

Yes, he dropped out on order to work full time at Microsoft with Paul Allen. Can't say that I would have done the same in his situation. I guess that's why I'm posting on this forum from my desk at work instead of sailing a yacht around the world.

Yeah, but if you look at it globally, a person who is struggling(lets say) to make car payments on their corolla, while having only a HS education and earning very little compared to middle-class America, they would be considered "wealthy" (or holding 50% the wealth in this case) compared to all of China, India, and Africa. So these people do not necessarily meet the "wealthy" (upper-middle class to upper class, owns McMansion, drives BMW, Lexus, ect) stereotype.
