Stuff You Don't See Every Day...

A few left over pics from our jaunt to Antarctica:
-The husband and wife on the BMW, had just pulled into downtown Ushuaia,
Tierra del Fuego, at the southern tip of Argentina, from Minnesota! They had
left home in October. They both looked fresh and the bike was in exc. condition.
The guy said he had done 2 rides into north Alaska, inc. a run all the way to Barrow, AK. Wow!

-The Pepper, parked on the street in Ushuaia, was driven down from
Buenos Aires, a mostly dirt 1500 mile trip; those marks on the leading
edge of the hood are permanent chips and gouges... The driver's
English was worse than my Espanol, .

-I liked the "F Car" container lift tractor.
-And, thee EZE airport in BA; we spent 7 hours there on the return. Much
more crowded than I remember from my work trips there, 8 years ago.
