I read an article a couple of weeks ago that they finally found a use for the V22's. Their range is further than a helicopter, but they're pretty defenseless as they only have a tail gun.

WOW!
I thought it was freaky when three of those flew past my (mooched) house in Jacksonville in formation... then the restaurant 20 miles down the river... then the airport, they're formidable looking things, eh?
