IMO, genuine nuclear weapons in Iran is a big fat lie. This is just an easy sell to the uneducated public.

The real threat is a new oil bourse operating in a non-USD currency. If oil starts trading in Euros or the Yen, the US (and the rest of us for that matter) will be screwed big time. I just wish Bush would be honest with us.
