Never noticed it here in Geezerville/NoveauRiche Naples...

X5World site is molasses slow today, but that's not new.

We might get some badly needed rain this eve, then a cold
front for a couple days. I'm getting the itch for the Mtns...

South FL sounds misleading, our friends in Daytona, WPB and FLL are all in the light, apparently Tampa was hardest hit

You say this all the time, yet I have never experienced X5 World being "slow". It is always fast for me. I know its not your computer, so what is your ISP.

btw I sent an email to family in miami....

ComCrap, in the fastest version they have here. Just ran Speakeasy
and got:
13107 kbps down and 1694 kbps up.

I peruse some fairly loaded/complex financial sites, lots of newspaper sites,
photo imaging sites, etc. They almost all run lightning fast...
However, my fave board, X5World, runs from OK to slow, to snaggly, and molasses-like.
I'm not the only one here with a slow X5 board.

Back on topic, we never had a flicker, power-wise, here on the poor side of Naples, FL.

Not only is it slow, but whatever ISP it is hosted on has a peering issue in the North East. If I push all network traffic out my NY link it's a mess, if I go out my Boston or California link, it's fine.
