Quick forum question
Are any of you members on Bimmerfest? It's not my intent to offend anyone that is, but it appears to be somewhat childish and lacks substance. This is just my opinion based on post I have been reading over the past month or so. Someone with expanded knowledge please let me know if I'm getting the wrong impression.....Phil

I am....and yes, when I first joined, I thought it was kinda unruly and unmature (especially in the OT). But after awhile, you begin to understand how certain people write, and yes they are often childish in OT, but once you dig deeper into the model forums it's not that bad.

my posts per day is about 1/8 there of what it is here.
My ex-CA called me a "tire kicking teenager who doesn't have two cents to his name" on bimmerfest.  thats childish for yo'ass... every other forum is 90% 15 year old kids from the OC who can't read and get 335i's leased for them on their super sweet 16.

I think it bfc is like that due the abundant amount of younger 3-series owners (no offense to anyone). If you venture on to the Mseries section or even the 5 series section on that site, you'll find more maturity. What I like about bimmerfest is all the vendor+fanboys vs. vendor+fanboy drama that has built up over the years. They post all their dirty laundry and sour business deals in detail and it's quite good reading. I don't know why it was so interesting.
