Talking A Modest Proposal...

Rules for Admittance to X Ownership...
And, Trial Period/Initiation Passage to posting on the X5World Board:

1-Upon delivery of your X, one must sit down with that rare book, The Manual,
and at least leaf through the sumbitch a time or two, before waddling on this board
and asking utterly inane and stupid questions.

2-One must read the FAQs, Info Posts, your model year's Manual and, all the other
great stuff that is found on the Home Page of this site.

3-One must read any/all threads that have to do with your wonderment, that show
up by your using the Search Tab...

4-Even though you might think your question is unique and/or really important to you,
it is almost guaranteed not to be "new"and most of us here don't care that you want instant
answers to your inane question.
4A-Go back and use Search, (because you never used it the first time), and read the applicable
threads, before asking your inane "question".

5-When a fellow poster gives a reasonable response to your question, with good info or opin,
stop around again, between texting and lattes, and say "thanks".

6-Realize no one on this board is simply waiting for the next question, regardless of how
"good" your question is, how immediate your gratification needs are, or that you just won
"office schlub of the month" at work, you are "busy", you are pressed for time, etc.
Even us Bums with time on are hands, are "busy"...

7-No one I know, connected with this board, is getting rich, let alone making real dough
from this wonderful site. So, peel a "Grant" off that big roll of yours, and become a Premier Member.
The benefits are slim, but the contribution is appreciated, and it beats giving $50 to the
March of Dimes, et al, imo.

8-Continued posting of really dumb "questions", may be met with the dreaded "little to no response"
thread; and, some serious poking at, by any posters on this Board that are nearly mentally ill due to
the ad nauseum of stupid freakin "questions".

9: One must have a sense of humor and an understanding that no poster here knows everything
about anything, but collectively, this great tribe of contributors knows alot about many things...

10-One cannot be named Biff or Buffy or, wish that your blueblood 'rents had named you that...
(this applies only to US/CDA potential posters; those names may be catchy somewhere else in the world.)

More suggestions to come, I suspect...

All in good fun, but..."Many a true word hath been spoke in jest."
