Should Obama get a pass on this one?
This was his Pastor for 20 years who he was very close with, married Barack and Michelle. and baptized their two children. He even worked with him on his book and gave him the title. This was more than an association, it was a close bond. Barack claims that he never heard ANY of those sermons personally yet we know he knew of a couple of them from past news events. I find that hard to believe that you can be this close to a man and not know he is a racist man filled with hate. Even worse...Obama seems to make excuses for Rev. Wright's words. "If all I knew were those statements I saw on television, I would be shocked," Obama said". In talking about America and not Rev. Wright: "It reminds me: We've got a tragic history when it comes to race in this country. We've got a lot of pent-up anger and bitterness and misunderstanding. ... This country wants to move beyond these kinds of things." Rev. Wright seems to be the one with pent-up anger and bitterness. Obama could have moved on from his church had he wanted to move beyond those kind of things. Now Michelle Obamas comment for the first time in her adult life, she was proud of America. Makes perfect sense. Sure sounds like someone who has been listening to Rev.Wright for 20 years.

Don't think he has been given any pass, since it has been a headline since it happened...no worse then the items Clinton has had to answer for.
This is all the best thing that could happen for McCain. Having Clinton and Obama beating the collective crap out of themselves...nothing but a Republican benefit.

Now it is a toss-up with the momentum quickly swinging to Hillary. This Democratic Convention is going to be interesting. I now predict that Hillary will get the nomination with less delegates at the convention with help from the Super Delegates. Here is the ironic part...Because Hillary has less baggage...

a pass on that shiznit?
what about this! http://youtube.com/watch?v=sVeFVtcdSYY granted, Sinclair is probably some whacko, but when someone accuses a presidential candidate of gettin' busy in the back of a limo and doing crack, you would think that it would get some attention. (just for the record, yes, I think that this guy is a whackjob, BUT, how does the NY Times get away with slapping McCain around with a front page unsubstantiated story about him having a relationship with a lobbyist, and yet, this gets not attention at all. once again it proves the hypocrisy in US politics, OR, it could be that the NYTimes finally learned its lesson)

20 minutes trashing McCain 20 minutes trashing Hillary 18 minutes praising Obama 2 minutes of passing reference to Rev. Wright. I kept waiting for the official endorsement or a possible banner saying This hour Sponsored by the Obama campaign. Boy do I wish I could get that hour back. |

Much like the Republicans losing impeaching Clinton and now apparently in good position to win the November election...the media is simply stunned
![]() Which is great. It shows them for the imbeciles that the majority of media print, or otherwise, truly are. You rarely ever see any investigative reporting, more so headline stamping on anything with the words: crisis, fear, war, scandal or..their favorite when the others go limp...the environment.
