Top Seeds NCAA

Ok guys and girls...

Since I am a sports junky..Here are my #1 seeds for this year's tourny..I know , i know, its not that hard to look them up on ESPN but these picks are my honest opinions also...

North Carolina
UCLA
Memphis
Tennessee

BUT.....

Kansas or Texas both have a chance to lock up a number 1 seed..IF...Tennessee loses in the SEC tourny relatively early...And Kansas or Texas win out in their tournament...My mighty Jayhawks only have 3 losses on the year and are BIG 12 regular season co-champions with Texas..

The 2 seeds in my mind would be:

Kansas
Texas
Georgetown
Duke

In reality in terms of seeding. The difference between 1 and 2 seeds is minimal and doesn't really affect anything. But its fun to tallk about it!

In terms of winning it all.....It pains me to say this...My prediction is:

UCLA....

Jayhawk faithful please forgive me...

Anyone have any thoughts?

GO HEELS!

They had a great season this year, with a 30-2 record. And oh yes, they beat Duke the second time 'round when they had all their players.

Ah yes..good old Roy Williams...We miss him at KU. You are lucky he returned home per Dean Smith...But make no mistake Tyler Hansborough maybe the leader of that team..But Carolina absolutely needs Ty Lawson to play at a very high level or they will fall. Ty Lawson, along with DJ Augustin of Texas are the best pure point gaurds in America. Freshman Jared Bayless of Arizona is also scary...

Yea, Lawson was out for a long string of games midseason. Actually, the whole time was low on point guards at one point due to all the injuries. Luckily, they were able to pull through most games, albeit some were by narrow margins (like the double OT with Clemson ). I hope the injuries are kept to a minimum.

This is my number#1 seeds:

NC, TENN, KS, UCLA

number#2 seeds: TX, DUKE, Georgetown, Stanford...I like Memphis going in instead of TX

I believe it all hangs with TENN not stumbling at the SEC tournament. I agree with you that UCLA could win it all this year. But, Stanford will be the one to watch. They are going up in the right time. I should stick with the SEC to winning it all since, I went to a SEC school. But, I am going to say that a PAC-10 is going to win this year's tournament. That's why I love this time of year, with baseball around the corner too...

Saw that the Orange wearing volunteers came closed of losing today. I was actually watching it through my Slingbox at work. Slingbox is amazing, as long as I have internet connection. I can watch anything that are broadcast at home.

As you may have noticed already, the Georgia Dome came closed to being flattened by a tornado. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=3294382

Since, the SEC tournament was postponed because of this incident for a day so, that they can clean up the place. It was only Cats vs Dawgs which did not matter at the least. Don't really care for either one. And yes, my Gators SUCKED this year big time both football and basketball. At least, the Gators won 3 National Champions.

So, my number#1 seeds are still standing. We need to put a bracket together when they announce the tournament selection.
