Whistle Fed Reserve cut interest rate another 0.75%....

So, does anyone really think this will help us now?

No, because we're going to have ridiculous inflation. Cutting rates isn't doing anything meaningful when the average guy still can't get a loan. All they're doing is pounding money market and new bonds. Ben and the fed have gone crazy, stepping in so much esp with the BSC thing. What kind of capitalism is this..how about letting the market corect itself? Moral hazard anyone..

It was interesting watching Dow swing from almost 300+ to 200+ and then back up within minutes.

One thing it will do for sure is continue to weaken the dollar which in turn will push up the price of fuel even higher. I contend the higher gas prices have more of an impact on a day to day consumers than anything else going on in the markets. Upper income Americans can afford to ride this out and take advantage of some of the cheap capital and property in the short run. Joe 6-Pack is hurting at the pump and his beer cost's more as well as a result.

The Fed has lost it. Let the market freakin' correct itself. I think the longer they try to avoid the inevitable, the longer it will take for the economy to regain its strength.

Inflation is going to be an even larger problem in the near future...........

Great if you are in the business of exporting. The Euro is up to $1.57.

It's not capitalism. It's called Fascism or also sometimes called "Corporatism". It's when the government interferes in the economy to help the corporations at the expense of the people.

Yay, we're going to have a great exchange rate when we go to Germany this summer. 1 dollar is going to get me like 0,4 Euros.
