Losing your wallet sucks
Total bummer... Time to notify all the credit agencies, banks, go to the DMV...New insurance cards...Everything. Not a Good Friday for me.

It's a good idea to leave a card in your wallet with a note:
REWARD IF FOUND $100 Please call - 555 555 5555 I'd gladly pay someone $100 to return my wallet to me. (btw, my bro was going into a LA nightclub one night and looked at the ground and saw a drivers license, he picked it up and looked at it. It belonged to one of the Olsen Twins. We FedEx'd it to her LA office the next day.. We didn't even get so much as a thank you card from her. Guess a couple billion in the bank doesn't buy class. lol. B ps. sorry about your wallet.

Trust Me When The Treg got broken into, I was more upset about losing my Paul Smith one of 500 wallet then anything else!

That does suck...
ins cards in your wallet? Be sure to put a Credit Alert/stop in with all 3 main credit agenices; it basically prevents the use of your name "for credit" for awhile. You might put in place a secret code word that only you and your wife know, and one that no one could guess...then, when you need to open the credit valve for any reason, the credit account via one of the big 3, can be verified. That verbal password can be instituted at those 3 main agencies, your bank, your brokerage firm, et al. We had our entire ID compromised a couple yrs ago: a fookin nightmare. GL,mD

I once lost my wallet at a cafe one time, two years later, I went to the cafe to eat and the waiter said to me.. "Hey did you lose a wallet here?" I got it back with everything inside!! Can you believe it?? I always take it out of my pocket when I'm driving and put it in the cupholder or something. Anyways, Have fun waiting in line at the DMV! lol

I once lost my wallet to my ex-fiance, does that count?
Lab - That really sucks big time especially going through the hassle of stopping everything. But, it will be worth it at the end...knowing that you will be protected. mD - I never knew that you can have a verbal password...thanks for the information.
