Any suggestions for mounting surfboard on top of X5?
I'm trying to find out what the best (most simple and efficient) way to carry my board on the roof of the X5. I currently just have the stock roof rails that come with the X5. I wanted to get any suggestions before running out to get something. TIA Last edited by PeteG; 08-26-2005 at 03:53 PM. |

Doesn't BMW make a surfboard attachment? I'm pretty sure they do. I don't have the X5 accessories catalog anymore, so I can't look it up.

I have some Thule crossbars for my X5, and could easily carry a surfboard.

Isn't it against the unwritten rules of being a surfer to own a nice car?
