Mac or PC?
I need to upgrade my desktop. I don't think I will use it for gameplay, I have Xbox360. Mostly email, pictures and eventually video. Pros and Cons from those in the know would be great.

+ Better screens. Better interfaces. iPhoto is nice. iLife in general, very good. Fast. Good amount of memory. Reliability. Pop-ups (or lack thereof).

- I can't think of anything at the moment.

Mac, but Apple bashers will tell you otherwise I have both and always gravitate to Leopard.

Here is a PC guy who would advise him to get a Mac for his needs. Photos and Video is much better on a Mac...Email can be done on any machine so it is not a factor.

Both have their merits but you can run windows if you need to on a Mac.

The problem with a PC is that the "new" operating system Vista has issues, get a MAC.

I have a PC but I'd vote for a Mac with the OP's
