Went to the Auto Show with my kid and girlfriend on Sunday. So much for a nice, relaxed Easter Sunday. Crowded up the wazoo!

Just a mass of humanity. Anyway, I went mostly for my kid's sake. I think with the abundance of resources and hi-res pics that are online nowadays, you can get much more objective info online than you can at the show. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to sit in the new M3, and get up close and personal to the huge ceramic drilled rotors on the new ZR1. But I was disappointed that you couldn't even touch the Lambos (let alone sit in them), and also they closed the doors to ALL the Porsches

I asked one of the spokesmodels why they did that and she told me some "folks" were trashing the interiors on Firday and Saturday, and they even had some leather seats slashed! I asked her if that had happened at Detroit and the other cities, and she said "no, pretty much just here in NYC"

. Yet another example of a few bad apples spoiling it for the rest of us.
