Fed to be financial overlord?
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,343061,00.html http://money.cnn.com/2008/03/28/news...ex.htm?cnn=yes IMO all this would do is fully replace all medium to small lenders with huge corporate lenders that could handle all the overhead of the mortgage industry and federal regulation. The "George Baileys" of the world would sink and go out of business as they couldn't maintain competing rates with all the overhead. So, thanks to big conglomerates not doing their job correctly..the small guy gets shutdown...wonderful. Good call liberals who cried for "government help". I guess that is the way it is..to quote "Tommy Boy": "...sure the kids cry when you tie an old tiger to a tree and beat it in the head with a shovel. But that is survival, and if I can make a few bucks by being the @sshole, so be it."
