Whistle Another question from The Challenged One

It's been awhile...

I took some pics of the X yesterday and wanted to add one to my signature. When I copied the image from photobucket, it was too large. I'd like it to be close to the same height as the other images in my signature. I don't want it to be the size of a screen. I tried playing around with the edit mode to resize it. I did save the resize a few times but the pics were still big when I put them my signature. How do I make it small....

For future reference, when you are uploading to photobucket, select "thumbnail" or "avatar" as your upload size.

I did. The resized picture showed up small on the photobucket page but still loaded large when I pasted the image.

Right click on the picture.....click on "open with" ... then click on "paint"....then click on "image/skew"....then replace 100% with whatever number u want to downsize to say 30% on both the width and height....then save the new picture under a new name

Did you already have it uploaded to photobucket as the bigger picture? You have to change the file name if you want to upload it again as a different size.

I've noticed that Paint distorts the quality of the picture if you use it to resize .jpg files, so I'd avoid using it, if possible.

The paint application does not affect the quality of your image when downsizing... it is already on your computer and easy to use...use it .. u'll be fine
