Arrow BMW takes over Moscow riverfront with M-Wall billboard

The Germans never made it to Moscow during WW2, but BMW has recently taken up a sizeable amount of space on the Moscow riverfront near the Kremlin in the form of a gigantic billboard dedicated to its M cars. Dubbed the M-Wall, it features the advertising slogan: "BMW M Power: Be first every day."

Featuring life-size mockups (complete with working tail and headlights) weighing about 440 lbs each of the the M3 coupe, M5, M6, and Z4M Coupe, the M-Wall is immense. It's almost a quarter-mile long (1312 feet, to be exact), 49 feet high, and has an area of 1.48 acres.

The M-Wall, part of the construction barrier erected around what used to be the site of the massive Hotel Rossiya, which was demolished in 2006 to make room for an entertainment complex, will remain in place until the end of the year.
