I like Stag, got a complete Stag-15 with A.R.M.S. #40L Model 2T and I love it. Added a few goodies, but that is half the fun.

As long as it is not an Olympic, all stripped lowers are the same (Oly tends to ignore standards, so pin holes might not line up, etc). My suggestion is to find the cheapest stripped lower you can, and invest the difference in a better lower parts kit (CMT/Stag LPK, rather than DPMS, for example).

I bought an AR-15 A2 before the ban back in 83 and it's held up very well all these years. I'e shot everything from red squirrels to big Northern Wisconsin deer and it's worked great. Just have to load the bullets appropriate for your game. Overall a great weapon if you keep it clean.

What about Noveske Lowers ? Also what's the difference between "Gen II and Gen III" Receivers ?? I'm overwhelmed by the number of manufacturers.
