Whoever said the X3 was too close to the X5 5 years ago..........well guess what, now there's a new market segment, and everyone's piling in.

It tries a bit too hard to be an off-road vehicle though. But I like that second interior shot with the aluminum and gray lthr. The window switches are taken off a '04 5-series.

ugh, why can't a manufacturer make a tough looking 4x4 that gets good mileage city and highway, has some luxury to it, has over 290HP, can actually tow something, doesn't have a 3rd row, is a primarily rwd but can switch to awd, isn't a tank, is afordable and isn't a soccer mom or chick car.

One can only dream.

Truck, 290+hp and good mpg? Let's not get carried away.

The Nissan FX45 is close to what you listed (including the rwd-awd, minus the tough look), but it is booring.
