Looking for a work phone

Guys,

I know you comment on cells a lot so I figured I'll ask. I'm looking for a phone for business, so I want something utilizing Smartphone cabilities such as the Motorola MPX 220.

Any suggestions?

I don't know how quick you need it but T-Mobile & Cingular is going to be releasing some new HTC Smartphones in the next few months. Also there is going to be a new Treo coming out.

It also depends on which provider is good in your area. I like to have just Cingular or just T-mobile phone but Verizon is the only one which works in my area, therefore I carry 2 phones. Cingular is coming out with a HP IPAQ hw6515 phone PDA which runs on Windows Mobile eidition. Uses Goodlink software to make it work like a blackberry. Its supposed to be better than Treo 650. MotoQ is another cool phone from Motorola coming early next year. MotoQ is supposed to be offered by T-mobile.

Treo 650 vs. HP IPAQ 6515

Well I would recommend Cingular because you can get any GSM phone imported and use it. If you need a phone that Cingular sells, I would look at the Blackberry 7100g or Nokia 6620.

If you want an imported phone, I would look at the HTC SDA.

The PalmOne Treo is also a good phone, I had one until I just switched to a Sony Ericsson Z800i.

Blackberry 7100g for free right now. Link

The Nokia 6620 is $24.99. Link

Treo 650 for $299 - Link

Stay away from the Nokia 6620. It isnt a true smartphone and its HUGE. You can't really input stuff easily on the fly. Same with the mpx-220. My dad uses the Blackberry for work. Not that great. Make sure that what every you get has touch screen. Right now, the Treo's are excellent.
